Commercial Manager

The purpose of the Commercial Manager is to develop and implement commercial services for Frank Water Enterprise, in line with the organisational strategy and values. This role will build strong, long term commercial partnerships with businesses and customers.

You’ll communicate the organisation’s purpose and needs in a clear, consistent way to businesses through a variety of communication channels, finding shared values and ensuring they feel motivated to support Frank Water through their purchases and understand the impact of their support, feeding into the wider charity.

The successful candidate will be proactive, organised, and a great communicator with demonstrated commercial acumen. You will have B2B experience and be a self-starter, with a gift for quickly building strong working relationships across internal and external stakeholders. You will be willing to take full responsibility for Frank Water Enterprise’s budgets and P&L.

Risk Management & Governance

The Risk and Governance Trustee is responsible for providing expertise to enable the board to understand and manage the risk Frank Water faces in line with regulatory and legal requirements, its governance documents and organisational policies.

The Risk and Governance Trustee’s execution of their responsibilities will have a strong impact on the public’s perception, credibility, and assurance in the Charity as a whole. With this in mind, the Risk and Governance Trustee should have strong analytical skills, an attention to detail, problem solving skills, good communication and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

The role will involve the following activities:

Providing leadership and direction to the charity’s risk management and governance approach ensuring it is in line with emerging practice.

Working in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team to support them to understand their responsibilities when it comes to risk management and achieve agreed targets in line with the  charity’s aims. 

Contribute actively to the Board of Trustees in giving strategic direction to the charity as a whole, and ensures the charity applies its resources exclusively in pursuing its objectives.

Act as an ambassador of the organisation, spreading the word and promoting the work

Digital Media & Communications

The Digital Media & Communications Trustee is responsible for overseeing the management and reporting of the Charity’s digital media and communications.

The Digital Media and Communications Trustee’s execution of their responsibilities will have a strong impact on the public’s perception, trust, and assurance in the Charity as a whole. With this in mind, the Digital Media and Communications Trustee should have skills such as attention to detail, timeliness in completing tasks, clear and accurate record keeping, and a willingness to ask questions.

The role will involve the following activities:

• Providing leadership and direction to the charity’s digital media and communications strategy.

Working in partnership with the CEO and Head of Operations & Fundraising to support the team, helping them to achieve agreed targets and the overall aims of the charity.

Contribute actively to the Board of Trustees in giving strategic direction to the charity as a whole, and ensures the charity applies its resources exclusively in pursuing its objectives.

• Act as an ambassador of the organisation, spreading the word and promoting the work

Stand Up For Safe Water 2023 – Volunteer

Stand Up for Safe Water is a brilliant opportunity to spend quality time with colleagues, safely outdoors and network with other like-minded businesses and potential clients.

Volunteers are imperative to making our events a success. We’re looking for people to join us on the day of the event as either Pontoon Based Paddleboard Handlers or Registration Volunteers.

Pontoon Based Paddleboard Handler is a physical role and is ideal for people who are comfortable near water. It is not advised if you have pre-existing knee or back problems. You will need to be available from 3pm for the safety briefing until the event finishes at 7pm.

Registration Volunteers will be involved in registering volunteers and handing out goody bags to the participants. You will need to be available from 2:30pm to be brief and your role will finish at 4:30pm.

Photo Editor – Volunteer

At Frank Water, we’re looking for someone who can help us inspire support by making the images we use in print and digital, really stand out from the crowd.

Inspiring, eye-catching and thought-provoking images are the backbone of Frank Water’s comms. If you have an eye for detail, graphic design experience and are comfortable using Adobe Creative Cloud to edit images (and occasionally video) we’d love to hear from you!

There’s no minimum number of hours or timeframe for this role – any time you can give is useful and valuable. We’ll provide you with access to Adobe CC but remote working is preferred due to limited office space! If you’ve got a couple of hours to spare every week / month or quarter, get in touch!
