Finance & Administration Assistant

28 hours (flexible) per week – hybrid working

The purpose of this role is to support the organisation with financial administration, to administratively support team members to achieve targets and build relationships, to minute all meetings; and to direct any queries to appropriate team members, or provide answers.

You will be proactive, organised, and a great communicator with strong attention to detail. You will be interested in supporting team members and be process driven. You will possess a self-motivated, tenacious, and can-do attitude. It is essential you have a passion for our cause and a desire to develop an understanding of all aspects of our work.

Fundraising & Communications Manager

28 hours (flexible) per week – hybrid working

The Fundraising & Communications Manager is an exciting new role that aims to build on the strong brand of Frank Water, delivering an integrated communications strategy, providing fresh, powerful narratives to encourage donations, engagement and support, whilst directly growing the organisation’s unrestricted income by using their expertise to deliver the individual giving and appeals strategy.

The ideal candidate will have experience in unrestricted income generation and communications. You will be a skilled communicator with a track record in acquiring, retaining and developing individual donors. You will have experience in developing and delivering unrestricted fundraising appeals, through integrated communications to enable increased impact for the marginalised communities we work with. You are a natural relationship manager with high emotional intelligence and a proven track record of managing a small team with a professional, enabling style.

Frank Water is looking for voluntary charity trustees with expertise in Digital Media and Communications. Please see below for more information on the role:

Digital Media & Communications Trustee

The Digital Media & Communications Trustee is responsible for overseeing the management and reporting of the Charity’s digital media and communications.

The Digital Media and Communications Trustee’s execution of their responsibilities will have a strong impact on the public’s perception, trust, and assurance in the Charity as a whole. With this in mind, the Digital Media and Communications Trustee should have skills such as attention to detail, timeliness in completing tasks, clear and accurate record keeping, and a willingness to ask questions.

The role will involve the following activities:

• Providing leadership and direction to the charity’s digital media and communications strategy.

Working in partnership with the CEO and Head of Operations & Fundraising to support the team, helping them to achieve agreed targets and the overall aims of the charity.

Contribute actively to the Board of Trustees in giving strategic direction to the charity as a whole, and ensures the charity applies its resources exclusively in pursuing its objectives.

• Act as an ambassador of the organisation, spreading the word and promoting the work

Stand Up For Safe Water 2023 – Volunteer

Stand Up for Safe Water is a brilliant opportunity to spend quality time with colleagues, safely outdoors and network with other like-minded businesses and potential clients.

Volunteers are imperative to making our events a success. We’re looking for people to join us on the day of the event as either Pontoon Based Paddleboard Handlers or Registration Volunteers.

Pontoon Based Paddleboard Handler is a physical role and is ideal for people who are comfortable near water. It is not advised if you have pre-existing knee or back problems. You will need to be available from 3pm for the safety briefing until the event finishes at 7pm.

Registration Volunteers will be involved in registering volunteers and handing out goody bags to the participants. You will need to be available from 2:30pm to be brief and your role will finish at 4:30pm.

Photo Editor – Volunteer

At Frank Water, we’re looking for someone who can help us inspire support by making the images we use in print and digital, really stand out from the crowd.

Inspiring, eye-catching and thought-provoking images are the backbone of Frank Water’s comms. If you have an eye for detail, graphic design experience and are comfortable using Adobe Creative Cloud to edit images (and occasionally video) we’d love to hear from you!

There’s no minimum number of hours or timeframe for this role – any time you can give is useful and valuable. We’ll provide you with access to Adobe CC but remote working is preferred due to limited office space! If you’ve got a couple of hours to spare every week / month or quarter, get in touch!
