Frank Water is currently recruiting for the following role:

Fundraising (Events) & Communications Executive

Salary scale: £25,508 – £29,142 (FTE)
Hours of work: 28 hours per week
Reporting to: Fundraising & Communications Manager (and Head of Development)
Responsible for: Event interns and volunteers
Location: Central Bristol office, with flexible home working approach

The Fundraising (Events) & Communications Executive is a new role at Frank Water, that will work across both the charity and social enterprise (CIC) to maximise income from events and festivals, and support the delivery of our integrated communications strategy.

The ideal candidate will have experience in event management and communications. You will be highly organised and an excellent communicator, having a gift for quickly building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You are self-motivated, tenacious, and solutions focused. You will have experience of coordinating all areas of event delivery to ensure they run smoothly and to budget.

You have a good understanding of fundraising or revenue generation, with the ability to implement strategies that maximise income for the charity and CIC. You are highly personable with the skill to manage and motivate volunteers, as well as support event participants in fundraising for Frank Water.

You will have proven communications skills, with strong attention to detail and creative flair for writing copy and developing marketing strategies. It is essential you’re passionate about bringing safe water to communities for generations to come and you will be keen to develop an understanding of all aspects of our work. You are able to travel throughout the UK when required to attend events and festivals.

Trustee Roles

Frank Water has some amazing volunteer charity trustees with expertise in various different areas. We are currently recruiting for the following role:

Digital Trustee

The Digital Trustee is responsible for overseeing the development, management and reporting on the Charity’s digital strategy;  including digital channels, content, data, systems, technology and creating a culture in which digital developments can be supported. The role will involve the following activities:

Providing leadership and direction to the charity’s digital strategy

Working in partnership with the CEO, the Head of Programmes and the Head of Development to support the team, helping them to achieve agreed targets and the overall aims of the charity

Contribute actively to the Board of Trustees in giving strategic direction to the charity as a whole, and ensures the charity applies its resources exclusively in pursuing its objectives

Act as an ambassador of the organisation, spreading the word and promoting the work

Photo Editor – Volunteer

At Frank Water, we’re looking for someone who can help us inspire support by making the images we use in print and digital, really stand out from the crowd.

Inspiring, eye-catching and thought-provoking images are the backbone of Frank Water’s comms. If you have an eye for detail, graphic design experience and are comfortable using Adobe Creative Cloud to edit images (and occasionally video) we’d love to hear from you!

There’s no minimum number of hours or timeframe for this role – any time you can give is useful and valuable. We’ll provide you with access to Adobe CC but remote working is preferred due to limited office space! If you’ve got a couple of hours to spare every week / month or quarter, get in touch!
