Nepal

Nepal has an extraordinary landscape with eight of the world’s tallest mountains. Being so close to the top of the world, rural Nepalese communities can be said to be on the frontline of climate change. The country’s dramatically varied geography can make it difficult for people to access water, sanitation and hygiene.

As reported by the World Bank, Nepal is one of the poorest nations in the world, and UN Development says that in 2023, 17.4% of Nepalis are still multi-dimensionally poor, meaning they can’t afford basic necessities.

We are work alongside rural communities to enable them to access sustainable water, whilst strengthening governance for water, sanitation and hygiene across Nepal.
