Volunteer with our Festival Refill Service

Get involved!

Frank Water is looking to recruit a team of reliable, hardworking, friendly, enthusiastic, fun-loving volunteers for our 2025 festival season, who are passionate about making a difference in developing countries as well as protecting the environment.

What’s it all about?

For summer 2024, we took our Festival Refill Service to six different festivals across the UK. On site, our team of fabulous volunteers (that’s you!) serve chilled, filtered water to thirsty festival goers from our self-contained, purpose-built refill kiosks. Plus, we sell a range of Frank Water refill bottles, flasks and wristbands to not only encourage customers to refill but also to raise essential funds for our safe water, hygiene and sanitation projects overseas in India, Nepal and Kenya.

All profits from the sale of our water and bottles fund our projects directly.

What you’ll be doing

As a Festival Refill volunteer, you’ll be engaging with customers, serving refills from our kiosks and our mobile Frank Tanks, selling wristbands bottles, as well as talking about Frank Water charity and how refilling in the UK is making a global impact. Volunteering is an opportunity to support an incredible cause, have fun and meet like-minded people. It’s also something great to add to your CV.

A typical festival weekend

As a Frank Water Festival Volunteer you will be with us for the whole weekend; that’s usually Thursday afternoon until the festival closes on Sunday. We recommend arriving early to miss the traffic jams and bag the best camping spot!  We start refilling from Thursday mid-afternoon and serve all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Refill kiosks are open 9am – 9pm and all volunteers work one 6 hour shift each day. In the week before the festival, we’ll send you the rota, so you know which shifts you are working (we’ll make sure you’re paired with your festival friends!).

Join us in 2025

A festival ticket for just a £30 registration fee

To register, you’ll be required to pay a refundable deposit of £50, plus a £30 registration fee for each festival you sign-up for. Pre-festival, you’ll be asked to attend an online training session to learn about Frank Water and our work, and we’ll add you to that event’s WhatsApp Group so you can meet the rest of the crew.

“Frank Water is part of our festival experience. We don’t bring water, but pay for a bottle on day one and refill all weekend with lovely chilled, filtered water. We stay hydrated, create no waste and get to chat to the lovely, bright and friendly staff. Thank you!”
