Anoo found Frank at the Dart 10k in 2014 and became an ambassador. He has supported Karma Korma, auction events and continues to help spread our message. He joined Frank on their 10th anniversary visit to India in 2015 to gain first hand experience of the collaborative work Frank does and it’s affect and influence on marginalised communities.
He is a hospital Paediatric specialist in Bristol and understands the significant impact of WASH on children. He enjoys sea swimming, cycling, Taekwondo and (recently) Tai Chi.
Peter Davies joined Frank Water as a trustee in September 2016. Having developed a career in retail operations he moved into the training and development field, working in the off licence sector before moving to Cancer Research UK in 2002. He managed the Training Department for the retail chain before becoming a Senior Fundraising Manager for their community fundraising team. In 2015 he founded his own learning and development consultancy providing training, coaching and facilitation services, primarily for the third sector.
Alison Paine joined Frank Water as a Trustee in October 2016. Professionally qualified in computing and marketing, Alison’s early career was in software development, sales, marketing and publishing. She moved into strategic marketing consultancy in 1987 and spent 15 years delivering consultancy and training to more than 100 mainly software, IT and high-technology businesses. From 1990-93 she led a three year government funded project advising the Indian software industry on its export marketing strategy, and directly supporting 20 Indian companies. Alison joined the third sector in 2003 as Director of Business Development of the National Autistic Society, before moving to Bath in 2007 and becoming a Trustee and later Vice Chair of Brunelcare in Bristol, and a Non-Executive Director of AWP NHS Trust.
Chris Guy joined Frank Water as a Trustee in July 2017. A digital technology specialist, Chris has over 18 years’ experience working in creative agencies delivering projects for start-ups, educational organisations and global brands. He is currently Technical Director at Modular Digital and prior to that was a co-founder and Digital Director of FP Creative (now branded Foxtrot Papa).
Dr James Jenkins
James joined Frank Water as a trustee from November 2017. An academic, James has over 17 years’ experience of teaching and researching in Environmental Management, focusing on water resources management issues such as drinking water quality, water usage, and consumer engagement. He is currently the Associate Dean (International) for the School of Life and Medical Sciences at the University of Hertfordshire.
Elena joined FRANK Water as a trustee from November 2017. Elena has a background in managing and delivering capacity building interventions within the international development and humanitarian sectors for UN agencies, international NGOs and national governments. When working in the humanitarian sector Elena specifically trained on WASH related topics including hygiene promotion. She currently works as a Learning Services Manager at Nesta, an innovation foundation, designing and implementing learning programmes with a focus on quality and impact.
Jack joined FRANK Water as a trustee from July 2018, having moved to Bristol following three years working in WASH at Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya. He first became involved with FRANK Water as part of a volunteer project while completing a Master's degree in Biochemical Engineering at the University of Bath. Soon after this he volunteered for an organisation in India with which Frank later partnered. He then spent time designing and commissioning water and wastewater treatment plants in Australia, where he was also Vice President of the South Australia chapter of Engineers Without Borders. He's now Senior Process Engineer at Nijhuis Aquatic Water Services and a Chartered Chemical Engineer, and likes surfing, live music, and adventures.
