Festival volunteer, spice guru and recycling entrepeneur, Sanjay has fundraised for FRANK water since his first volunteering experience at Womad 2013. He runs an artisan tea and spice company called Spice Kitchen with his mum and also a cork recycling initiative called Recorked UK, both of which support FRANK in various ways!
Romy Gill MBE
With several fundraising events under belt (including the Mumbai Marathon), chef Chef Romy Gill co-ordinated and hosted an event in London for International Women's Day 2016. Romy has raised more than £4000 for FRANK Water. In 2016, Romy was awarded an MBE for her services to hospitality.
As a student, Hamish supported FRANK Water as a member of Engineers without Borders. On graduating, he spent a Summer working as FRANK Water's FreeFill Coordinator and now in full time work at ARUP, Hamish continues to promote FRANK Water's message wherever and whenever appropriate!
I’m very enthusiastic about working with FRANK Water - they build capacity, not just infrastructure. My water engineering skills can contribute to FRANK’s delivery of safe and appropriate WASH services for the people who currently lack them.

Alex met the FRANK water team when we commissioned her to draw a wall-sized map of India. Since then, Alex and her partner Paul have run the Bath Half Marathon, dressed as taps. See them in action here. Alex said "The FRANK water team were so engaging and charismatic, I immediately felt part of the team. I was honoured to be asked to help promote the work FRANK water does."
Sophie is a water engineer who first volunteered for FRANK Water as a Freefill festival technician in 2013. She has volunteered and fundraised every year since and is excited to host her first Karma Korma in 2016.
Andy Persson ran 7 marathons in 7 days in 2012. In 2014, he upped his game to run 9 marathons in 5 days to raise funds for FRANK Water. For 2016, Andy will run from John O Groats to Lands End (a cool 860 miles)
In December 2012, David Winterflood cycled to work dressed as Santa, every day for a month to raise awareness of the importance of safe water.
Paul has been supporting FRANK Water for almost 5 years. He has run a number of different half marathons with his partner Alex (both of them dressed in their as taps and toilets) and raised several thousand pounds. In 2017, Paul and Alex designed and built the fantastic new frontage for FRANK Water's Festival Refill Kiosks. For 2018, Paul is planning a 24 hour marathon DJ extravaganza!
Jim has over thirty years experience working with herbs, spices and food at Bart Ingredients. He has a passion for community matters both locally and in the countries where Bart sources its ingredients. Jim has been an ambassador for FRANK Water for over five years and has taken part and organised many events. In 2016, Jim walked the full 630 miles along the South West Coast Path. In 2107, he spent time with one of FRANK Water's partners in India's Madhya Pradesh where he visited three villages that have benefitted from safe water and sanitation.
