The Vitality Bath Half Marathon – or the ‘Bath Half’ as it is affectionately known, is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK. It sells out quickly with 15,000 entries. Run 13.1 miles through the historic streets of Bath and raise funds for FRANK Water.

We have 20 places to run the Vitality Bath Half 2017. Places are just £29 and we ask you to raise a minimum sponsorship of £250.

This is a 14k endurance swim (downstream!) through leafy Oxfordshire starting at Henley Bridge and ending at Marlow Bridge. FRANK Water is the official charity for the event. We have 15 wetsuit places available plus a limited number (tbc) of non wetsuit places.

Windermere One Way Swim

FRANK Water is delighted to be the official charity for the third year in a row.  We have 18 paddler assisted places and 5 non-paddler assisted places up for grabs. 

The 10 mile Windermere One Way Swim starts at beautiful and sheltered Fell Foot Park at the southern end of Lake Windermere with 1:1 paddler support.

Registration is £300 if you require paddler support, or £150 if you can arrange your own.  

Minimum sponsorship is £550

Discover the Himalayas like you’ve never seen them before on this charity adventure

Nowhere else on Earth has a greater diversity of landscapes within as small an area as Nepal.  It is widely acknowledged as one of the most spectacular trekking destinations in the world. Presiding over everything is the highest point on the planet – Mount Everest. The challenge is to trek to Everest Base Camp. It is an incredible journey offering panoramic views across a magical landscape of snow-capped peaks and mighty glaciers. This is the challenge of a lifetime to the roof of the world.

What's Included? 

International flights to / from Kathmandu, internal flights between Kathmandu to Lukla, accommodation, all group transfers, Classic Tours Tour Manager, UK doctor (Expedition medicine trained) , experienced Western or Sherpa support staff, water & all meals except lunch on days 17 & 18, complimentary map, luggage labels, free time for sight-seeing.

Once you have registered to take part, you will receive detailed notes about the Base Camp Everest challenge including a suggested packing list, training guidelines, practical advice on trekking at high altitude and visa information - we provide the information and support to ensure you have everything you need to prepare for the challenge plus an A-Z of useful fundraising tips to help you reach your sponsorship target. Before you go we include a face to face pre-departure group briefing and we are always happy to help with any questions you may have.

Plus, we have financial protection for your tour (ATOL) and insurance to organise an event of this nature.

What's Not Included? 

Airport taxes - £340 approx. (October 2016), travel insurance, visa - $40 (subject to change), lunch on days 17 & 18, optional tours, gratuities & spending money,

Pre-trip training weekend will be arranged in Snowdonia, this will be at an extra cost.

How To Take Part

To sign up for this challenge you will need to pay a registration fee and pick from one of the follow two payment options: 

1.Option 1 (Minimum Sponsorship) - You pay a £399 registration fee plus airport taxes approx. £340 and agree to raise £3750 sponsorship for the charity of your choice. You will pay the airport taxes approx.10 weeks prior to departure. 

2.Option 2 (Own Place) - You pay a £399 registration fee, plus £2050 for the balance of the tour costs, plus airport taxes approx. £340. You will be invoiced for the balance of the £2050 tour cost and the airport taxes approx. 10 weeks prior to departure.

Bristol Nightrider 2016

Brand new for 2016 is this exciting new 100km night time ride that links the 2 beautiful cities of Bristol and Bath. The route is currently a work in progress but will take in as many highlights as it possibly can! This will include places like the Old City Docks and the streets of the Old Town including the famous Corn Exchange in Bristol as well as the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Over in Bath landmarks likely to be en route include the Theatre Royal, The Royal Crescent and Pulteney Bridge. Full support, back up and regular break stops are provided throughout the night and a well-earned breakfast and medal at the finish line. 

FRANK Water have 5 places available. To ride for FRANK Water, you'll need to pay a registration fee of £39 (instead of the usual price of £99) and raise a minimum of £175. Join this unique event - the first of its kind for Bristol.

A Winter swimming gala in the heart of the Lake District.  Jump into Lake Windermere and brave the cold for FRANK Water. Choose from either 30m breaststroke, 60m freestyle, 30m relay, 120m freestyle, 240m freestyle, 450m endurance.  All races are non-wetsuit swims and are organised into age and gender categories as per the regulations of the International Winter Swimming Association

Big Green Walk

As part of Healthy City Week, 12th – 18th October 2015 500 more and Netwalking South West have teamed up to encourage Bristol to get walking. Greg has teamed up with Rosalind J.Turner of Netwalking Southwest to lead us on a 'walk and talk' at the beginning of this October Health Week, on the morning of Sunday 11th October.  

This Harbourside Netwalk begins on Sunday 11th October meeting at 11.00am at the Green Hub for an introduction to our nominated charities, then leaving at 12pm for a 2 hour facilitated 'walk and talk' discussing themes on wellbeing, walking, health and also how a wellbeing app might help you to stay fit and healthy.

Karma Korma is FRANK Water’s flagship fundraising campaign. Based on a simple idea – Karma Korma is a fun, straightforward way to mark World Water Day. Individuals, businesses, schools and groups can all take part. Simply cook a curry and invite your friends, colleagues or schoolmates to share in exchange for a donation to FRANK Water. World Water Day falls on 22nd March 2015, but Karma Korma can take place at any time of year. And for those who can’t/won’t cook, there are lots of other ideas. Try a Wear a Sari to Work day, a Bhaji Bake Sale or a Karma Korma Come Dine with Me evening.

The Big Chill Swim (Windermere)

The third Big Chill Swim Windermere will take place on Saturday 31 January 2015.

The water will likely be less than 5 degrees. Each race will be timed, and the fastest time per age group will win each category. The separate events are 30m breaststroke, 60m freestyle, 4 x 30m relay and 120m freestyle. The 450m endurance swim is for experienced cold water swimmers only. A huge endurance challenge! Only touch turning allowed for 15 widths of the marina. Participants must provide summary of cold water training and experience during their registration.
