Protect Water

Help us raise £60,000 in our spring appeal to tackle the water and climate crisis – double your donation between midday on 14 and midday on 23 May.

March 2025 was reported as the second-warmest March globally, and the year ahead is predicted to be even hotter. With rising temperatures, shrinking glaciers, and disappearing springs, the communities that rely on the Himalayas’ natural water sources are feeling the impacts. The situation is urgent, but together, we can act.

Why the Himalayas matter

The Himalayas are often called the world’s “Third Pole” – home to the largest fresh water reserve outside the Arctic and Antarctic. These mountains feed Asia’s greatest rivers, supplying water to over a billion people.

But this vital ecosystem is in crisis. As springs dry up and natural water systems break down, millions of people are left vulnerable, without clean water, food security or the means to adapt to the accelerating climate emergency.

Frank Water is part of the solution

We’re tackling the water and climate crisis head-on, working directly with communities in the Himalayan region who are on the frontline of change to protect, manage, and restore their local water sources through nature-based solutions.

With your support, we can ensure it flows where it’s needed most – for people, nature and the planet.

Kick start our appeal by donating today, or make a bigger impact by starting a monthly donation, and protect water for generations to come.
