FRANK Water Projects is a small pioneering water charity that supports sustainable clean water projects in developing countries across the world.
Award winning social entrepreneur, Katie Alcott, 29, created FRANK in 2005 after suffering dysentery from drinking dirty water in India.
Witnessing the rise of bottled water sales in the UK, she dreamt of the water-for-water concept, creating an ethical bottled water brand that would fund clean water projects where they are most needed. On a shoestring budget and with a volunteer start-up team FRANK Water was created to be part of the solution.
FRANK Water is now two distinct entities. FRANK Water Projects, a registered charity (number 1121273), and FRANK Water Trading, a not-for-profit social enterprise which gives 100% of its profits to the charity. FRANK Water Projects receives donations not just from FRANK Water Trading, but from many other sources too.

The name FRANK was chosen because our aim is to be candid and outspoken about global water issues.
In a world where 6,000 children die every day from a lack of clean water, it’s clear that help is urgently needed.

A message from the Founder of FRANK Water:
"Since we pioneered the water-for-water idea in 2005 we've been amazed at the support we've had from FRANK Champions - customers, stockists, volunteers and supporters. On behalf of the villagers we've worked with at our projects, a big Thank You! By supporting FRANK Water you really are part of the solution."
